Message from our Frankfurt Datacenter:

Dear Customers and Partners,

We are writing to give you advance notice of an upcoming, large-scale maintenance window
that will have a direct impact on our fiber optic infrastructure and connectivity in the
Frankfurt East area, as well as our data center.

Maintenance Window:

Start: Monday, October 5, 2026, at 22:00 CEST (20:00 UTC/GMT)
End: Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at approx. 06:00 CEST (04:00 UTC/GMT)

Duration: Up to 8 hours

Background:
Our upstream carrier utilizes the pipeline and route infrastructure of Gasline for parts
of our fiber optic links. Gasline will be carrying out extensive civil engineering and
fiber splicing work during the aforementioned period. Because these routes are leased
and utilized by multiple service providers, an estimated 800+ customers and carriers in
the greater Frankfurt East area will be affected by these measures – including our
upstream provider and, consequently, our entire infrastructure.

Although our network architecture is designed with multiple, physically diverse dark
fiber routes to ensure redundancy, Gasline is unable to provide our carrier with
reliable information regarding the exact times specific route sections and fiber strands
will be disconnected.

Due to this lack of detailed information, we must prepare for a worst-case scenario
during the entire 8-hour window. We therefore have to assume that all fiber connections
will be offline simultaneously.

Over the past few weeks, we have worked urgently to evaluate the expedited deployment of
a completely independent alternative route via third-party providers. However, since
this requires new civil engineering and physical connection work, a timely completion
before the maintenance window is unfortunately no longer feasible for the providers.

We appreciate your understanding and remain at your disposal should you have any
technical questions.
