We’re excited to inform you that tomorrow, December 13th, we will be performing the 3rd and hopefully final maintenance as part of our ongoing network and service upgrades. Today, during our 2nd maintenance, we saw promising results and verified that our Amsterdam location will be ready to go once we switch the network over.

Here’s what you need to know:

🗓️ Key Points:
Final Maintenance Window: Tomorrow, December 13th, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM CET (Central European Time). The maintenance may extend until 11:00 AM CET if additional testing is needed.
Amsterdam Expansion: If everything goes as planned, we’ll officially add Amsterdam to our network at 4:00 PM CET tomorrow. During this time, there will be a brief 5-10 minute downtime while we finalize the setup.

🌍 What’s New with Amsterdam:
Once Amsterdam is live, we’ll be offering exciting new services through our self-owned infrastructure, which will soon be available for purchase on our website. Here are the highlights:

Self-Owned Hardware: All servers and network equipment in Amsterdam are fully owned and operated by Wasabi Hosting.
Hosted in Databarn Datacenter: Located in the highly reliable Databarn Datacenter, with extended redundancy through NorthC & Nikhef for maximum uptime.
Improved Latency: The new Amsterdam location eliminates the ~10ms delay caused by routing through Frankfurt, resulting in faster response times for your services.
Better Connectivity for Countries Eastern Of Amsterdam: Users east of Amsterdam will benefit from improved pings due to the more direct routing from Amsterdam.
10Gbit/s Connections: All game servers, VPS, Web Hosting and dedicated servers in Amsterdam will feature 10Gbit/s network speeds.
40G Infrastructure: The new location is equipped with 40G uplink for top-notch, high-speed connectivity.

⚡ Frankfurt Customers:
No changes in Frankfurt: Customers in our Frankfurt location will continue to use the existing network, including the ~10ms added latency due to routing limitations on our upstream provider Cosmic Guard.
